FAQ’s when Hiring an Advertising Agency

That’s a great question. If you’re on this page right now there’s a good chance you’re thinking about working with an ad agency.


Because you know it’s worth your time to have certain aspects of your marketing handled by highly trained professionals who are in the marketing trenches every single day. 

While some people will try to do it all on their own, most small business owners know that in order to grow your business you need to increase your brand and visibility in a strategic manner. 

Bottom line, advertising platforms are constantly changing their audiences, targeting, and the advertising platform in general. As a result, if you’re not willing to invest significant time and effort to manage and optimize your ads on a daily basis, you’ll probably end up losing money on your paid ads. 

That depends on the model of the Facebook Ad Agency.

Some agencies will charge a fixed monthly retainer fee for the work estimated to be done (the scope of work).

Other agencies charge based on a percentage of your ad spend and therefore they will only work with clients who are willing to spend upwards of $30,000/month, $50,000/month or even $100,000/month on paid ads.

Then there are those agencies that take a percentage of your revenue from advertising which is why these agencies will want to make sure that your funnel is already producing a certain level of revenue.

Not that we are aware of. However, Facebook does run its own ads and attempts to train some employees or contractors to support small businesses with their ads. 

However, in our experience the Facebook reps don’t have the same level of knowledge or expertise as our ad agency does. The reason being, the Facebook reps aren’t actually in the trenches running ads for clients, nor do they have to keep an eye on a client’s budget and profitability.

As stated above that depends on the model of the ad agency. You can expect to pay anywhere from $800 USD per month for services on the low end and up to $5000 a month on the high end

If you’re with an agency that is using ad spend or revenue from ads and a retainer then you may see higher monthly retainer fees.
